The XTX200 regulator features a newly designed front cover made from high-strength plastic, enhancing the durability of the demand valve’s most vulnerable part. It also includes a chrome-plated metal insert, adding an aesthetic touch that highlights its status as a top-tier model.
The regulator’s purge button has been upgraded for improved performance. Its new open design allows for self-clearing, preventing debris buildup. The ergonomic Venturi lever has been redesigned to minimize grit ingress and includes a tactile, audible ratchet mechanism for easy adjustment.
An optional swivel hose connection is available, allowing the hose to rotate and pivot at the demand valve end for a more comfortable fit. The XTX200 also incorporates a silicone exhaust valve, which enhances breathing performance.
The pneumatically-balanced second stage ensures smooth, effortless breathing. The large, easy-to-operate purge buttons feature a 2-stage progressive function: pressing the side delivers a lower flow rate for precise control, ideal for tasks like filling lift bags, while pressing the center provides the full purge effect for clearing the regulator.
The venturi lever is equipped with a soft-touch rubber grip for easy operation, reducing grit ingress and ensuring smooth performance. The opening effort control knob is designed for easy gripping, giving the diver full control.
To protect against infections, all molded parts of the second stage are infused with an additive that effectively kills MRSA, E. Coli, bacteria, fungi, and viruses, as well as preventing the growth of mold, yeast, and algae. The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece helps eliminate jaw fatigue, while a patented heat exchanger surrounds the valve mechanism to dissipate cold from gas expansion and draw in warmth from the surrounding water.
